On August 28, 2007, we had a Lunar Eclipse here in New Zealand. I got to try out my new camera- these are the best shots I was able to get. It was pretty amazing- the moon turned reddish pink when completely covered by the earth's shadow. It was neat, because it was one of the few times you could count on being outside at the same time as your neighbors, re-connecting with nature.
